Goalkeeper Training Academy exist to help goalkeepers from the age of 8 through to maturity improve their understanding of the position and the game they love to play.
We offer weekly coaching sessions in Meridian Idaho (Friday evening March to October) for any goalkeeper to come and train.
We also offer Camps during Spring Break, Summer Break, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Finally for those that are really serious to their development and improvement we offer 1-1 coaching and an annual development plan for them to follow.

The goalkeeper is the most unique position on the field, the only player that can use their hands to touch the ball and the first attacker and last defender. The goalkeeper must be good with the ball at their feet and able to make critical split second decisions.

During the course of the training sessions we use various training aids to help us challenge goalkeepers from balance balls you see above, to deflectors, mannequins, hurdles, cones, misshaped or small balls, Training Sticks and much more.

Every session practically will have some element of reflexes and agility, it may be working with the hurdle or the ladder or the recently acquired raised ladder, but ever session will be incorporating foot movement and increased leg power.
